Poetry is a dirty word

"Poetry is a dirty word" is a collection of little treasures that elucidate the feelings of a regular guy who worked in factories, and menial jobs his entire life. Rich Cronborg was a union heavy equipment operator for 33 years. He also worked odd jobs to supplement his income. The poetry and little stories speak about delivering pizzas, washing dishes, delivering flowers, working in warehouses on midnight shift, and the horrors a man must endure to find his place in society. Other poems concern themselves with love, teenage angst, politics, and the various adventures this man has encountered in an illustrious life. This book is the 6th, that Cronborg has made available on Amazon.com. He is retired now for 13 years, and lives with his wife, in Wheaton, Illinois. Rich has a married daughter and three beautiful granddaughters. He earned a B.A. in Sociology from Southern Illinois University. He is a well-known Chicago artist who has been featured in the Chicago Tribune and Chicago Magazine. Cronborg has also appeared on a variety of television, human interest stories in the Chicagoland area. His stories and poems are intended to be a tribute to the common man, and to those who work the "dirty" jobs. He celebrates people and ideas that are often disregarded by society at large.
