Truth is hotter than fiction!

I've come to realize that any book edited by Alison Tyler is going to be a sexy, unpredictable, and varied read; 'Pleasure Bound' is no exception. Alison's editorial instincts ensure a detailed, searing collection of stories of all kinds of bondage, and all of it true! These stories are great inspiration for setting some kinky scenes of your own, or just to get the blood and juices flowing for some me-time titillation. As with any other Alison Tyler offering, this collection has something for whatever your mood may be--when I reached the last page, I was very disappointed to finish it, but these stories will definitely bear re-readings with the same results! Along with this volume, I would also recommend Alison's Erotic Alphabet books--no matter what kind of kink you crave, you'll find it in that collection!

These are true?!?!?!

So I'm a little slow. I got this book because I'm becoming a huge fan of Ms. Tyler's anthologies. Fandom plus a certain fondness for BDSM stories? Oh yeah, I was purchasing this. And I was *not* disappointed. These stories are fantastic, and have helped me overcome a childhood aversion to Mr. Rogers. But these are true?!?!? When I came back here to add my own two cent review, I finally noticed the word "true bondage stories" in the title. So excuse me while I go reread these. I might be awhile...

Tie Me Up!

I might as well have been bound and gagged while I read through this anthology. I barely put it down to go to work. Well, actually, that's a lie, I took it to work and read it on breaks and lunch. The fact that the tales were true only ratcheted up my captivation. From Alison Tyler's exquisite introduction to Once More Beneath the Exit Sign by Stephen Elliott and everywhere in between the stories grab you, hold you, thrill you and conquer you. My personal favorites were Kristina Wright's Campfire Story and Shanna Germain's Deal, but I'm certain more will join their ranks when I reread this luscious volume. Too hot to hold and too hot to put down, this one is definitely staying on my naughty shelf!

Destined To Please

Even if the bondage stories in "Pleasure Bound" weren't based on real encounters, they'd be compelling. Knowing they are true (maybe with names and few details changed for legal reasons), makes them all the more pleasurable. Billed as "True Bondage Stories," the twenty-three tales in this anthology, edited by Alison Tyler, are full of unrestrained, restrained passion, coupled with the voyeuristic thrill that comes from knowing these stories are not just the figments of the writer's imaginations. From Nikki Magennis' succinct "Handfast" to Stephen Elliott's haunting "Once More Beneath The Exit Sign," these BDSM stories have many flavors, and this collection is just the thing for when you want to pass on the vanilla.

This is another winner from AT. It's about bdsm/sub/dom. The bondage stories read very, very well and were some of the most tantalizing I have yet to read. (Seriously.) Additionally, the writing was good. The kicker is that the stories were true, only the names, specific events, etc. have been changed. Well, this certainly adds a new wrinkle to the story, but, in any event, it still doesn't change the fact that this is some hot stuff. A must, must read for bondage fans! Another good bet: Breaking the Girl and Eager to Please: Two Erotic Novels of Submission.
