I'd have to say that this is 1 of the most comprehensive books on organized crime spanning from the 1st part of the 20th century to the mid-20th century. Further, it outlines not only the major crimes but also has many details on the people who did the crimes. I would say that this would be a good read for any aspiring crime stopper type people to see what it was like years ago in comparision to todays crimes as I'm sure many of the techniques for not only doing the crime but also foiling the crimes are adaptable to the modern world.
