Both my daugter and son love this funny Max and Ruby story. It is perfectly suited for early readers. Mine are 5.

my children's favorite

All of my kids (ages 2, 4 and 5) love the Max and Ruby series of books. My 5 year old borrowed this particular book from his PreK's library and loved it so much I had to go out and buy it!It teaches counting and the illustrations are just precious.
