something else entirely

As a fan of the Cockey's Hitchcock Sewell mysteries, I was delighted to find Play Book Baseball 2 at a Dundalk yard sale. Talk about through the looking glass! Like the Tsara to Banks put out in the title, Play Book is a sprightly rumination on time, conflict, and the great American game that constantly curves in upon itself to reveal (somehow) an ever widening field. Elegantly funny and dripping of tobacco juice, it is entirely impossible and makes perfect sense. Worth rooting for.
