Pincher Creek tells the story of Tom Payton, a father of two from Vancouver, BC, who comes out of a coma to discover he survived the car accident that claimed the lives of his wife and two daughters. With money from the three life insurance policies, he borrows a page from Neil Peart, the drummer of RUSH, to go in search of a new reason for existence after his past life has been erased. His journey delivers him to Babb, Montana, an hour from the Canadian border in the heart of the Blackfeet Indian Reservation next to Glacier National Park. In a new country in an entirely different culture, Tom tries to learn to live again while coping with the agony of the grief from his lost family.After a trip back to Vancouver to share a holiday with his brother Marty, Tom decides to make another journey into different area of life he never thought he would embark into. This new expedition delivers far more than Tom expects and takes him to edge of sanity and existence as he faces the winter of the Canadian Rockies with just his wits and drive to survive.
