Pilgrimages in the middle ages

This book contains short and interesting descriptions of travelers in the middle ages whose pilgrimages had various religious purposes. I am particularly interested in the pilgrimages to Santiago de Campostela in Spain, one of the ancient pilgrimages which still draws walkers in the 21st century.
