Great book

I needed this book for my ento class and was very happy to see that it was much cheaper than in the bookstore. It came exactly on time and it was intact and in great condition. It has helped me a lot in class and i think this is a great book to understand the physiological processes that are going on in an insect.

from a mammalian physiologist

I bought this book out of the question of "how do they do what they do?" From a mammalian viewpoint, insects are impossible, yet they outnumber and outweigh us on the planet - this book requires a very good foundation in the principles of molecular biology, the patience to think about what the author describes and synthesize it, combining it with your other knowledge, and to be able to relate what you are shown in one part to the others - not a bathtub book(although I have read some of it there) - I found it quite well written and clear, not at all boring - If you are willing to put in the effort, it is quite rewarding

Insect physiology

this is a very useful book, im an entomology major and this wasnt a required book for my class but i bought it and found it to be very helpful for sections that were not clearly explained in class.
