Anarchy has never been so much fun!

The hero of this book, Robert Clayborn, may well be the only sane person left in the universe. "Phylum Monsters" is a delightful odyessy through a future world that offers something for just about anyone... however nuts "anyone" might be. We know we're in for a bizarre ride from the start as Clayborn takes the witness stand in a preposterous multibillion dollar lawsuit over genetically engineered bugs, fungus and, oh yes, people. From there, we zip through an anarchic plot that ties together deevolution, an American state locked in the 19th century, omniscient martians as personal appliances, more third world lunatics than you can shake a martian rock at, and the alleged reincarnation of Abraham Lincoln. A silly, stimulating brain teaser supreme.
