Whether you're new to Photoshop Elements or an experienced image editor, this professional book shows you how to create consistent high-quality images by establishing a logical sequence of essential tasks. From sorting images and RAW conversion to advanced editing and output, it's all here in the friendly, professional style that readers know and trust from the Tim Grey Guides series. Go beyond the basics and that you can focus on workflow and produce better digital images with this one-of-kind guide to Photoshop Elements.
My sister loaned me this book after I bought PSE 7. I am very analytical and bought 3 PSE 7 books to teach myself, yet I find Tim Grey's PSE 5 WORKFLOW more helpful in getting started and understanding the VERY basics before I use the other books. After the cursory first chapter intro, Grey starts at what happens immediately after you take your photos...the download and even the best organizing and naming for files into perpetuity. The info is so helpful and I was taking so many notes that I've decided to purchase this for myself (since I didn't find a similar book for 7 from Grey) so I can just write and highlight in my own book. (Besides, my sister is asking for her book back and I'm not ready to give it back!) If you're a novice, and even not so technical, I highly recommend this book for your library.
