Excellent Early Readers

I love these readers. We have used Bob Books, Now I'm Reading, as well as readers supplied with our curriculum. But these are the best. The vocabulary is well controlled - they don't toss in sight words that the kids are not ready for, the stories are interesting, and the illustrations are well done.

This is bar-none the best phonics series I have ever seen!

I am the owner of a preschool in Washington and have searched long and hard to find a good set of phonics books to use with our children. "Phonics Practice Readers" are bar-none the best books I have found to date to teach children how to read. They wrote these books at just the right levels so the student never finds a word that is too hard, which is very important when a child is first starting to read. These books are fun, well-illustrated and best of all they make the children want to read! Bob's Books, another line of early-reading books, pales by comparison, both in the quality of writing and the illustration. I highly recommend these books for educators, parents and home-schoolers alike!
