A superb photographic collection

This is a wonderful book filled with dozens of photographs of Phoenix and the surrounding areas. The book is divided into three sections: The City, The Mountains and The West. The section about the city is filled with beautiful photographs of historic landmarks and places of interest. The mountain section of the book focuses primarily on the geography and topography of the outlying areas that surround Phoenix. You'll see pictures of some of the prominent mountain ranges and native plant life. The section about the west emphasizes the wildlife and historic attractions that make the Phoenix/Southwest area so unique. The book is filled with clear color photographs and captions that divulge interesting tidbits about this beautiful region. It is by no means an exhaustive collection of photographs or a definitive reference guide on the lifestyle, wildlife or topography of the region. It serves strictly as a pictorial tribute to a very interesting area in the in the state of Arizona and in the country. Highly recommended!
