enjoyable book!

i really enjoyed this book as the guy from philly turns out to be the new earl and nobody really thinks he's the real thing nor does he tell them till mysterious accidents and happenings start to occur. turns out that the lady who's trying to keep things from happening gets involved and almost gets killed herself! she's saved by the new earl and he finally tells her who he is, but swears for her not to tell until he tells everybody at the end of the story! janet lyman
