Lyrical verse

Captivating and playful - my 3 year old son loved these verses and their accompanying lovely, soft drawings.

Wonderful book - highly recommend it!

This book is very beautiful and if you like these little earth creatures you are definitively in for a treat! This book is read almost every day at our house; besides "Pico the Gnome" this is our favorite gnome book! I wish there would be more books like this one out there! The illustrations are just lovely and the poems are met with giggles every time we read them...and not just from the children! A definite must have on your bookshelf if you like to engage your child's imagination.

Tender Gnomes

Fairyland is not always the most boyish of worlds. The Little Folk in Peter William Butterblow are welcoming to all, and are especially appealing to little boys. My six-year-old and two-year-old equally revere this beautifully illustrated book, and already have some of the sweet poems memorized. This is a cozy year-round favorite bedtime book.
