Very disappointed

I bought this book supposedly in "good condition" for my first granchild. Several pushed l pages were ripped and half the page is missing. You can't even read the full book. Definitely not in a good condition.

The refrain is too repetitive and the story is predictable.

Very disappointed

The books were hardly “very good”. I bought five for my students and only two were decent. The others were ripped and had torn and taped up pages. Plus huge writing in them. There’s no way I’d give those as gifts!!

Not "Like New" Condition

Based on recent experience, I think they need to be a bit more discerning and honest about the conditions of the books. In the past, I bought one in good condition where ones of the paper dolls was missing a head, and another wasn't there at all. In this case, the pages are crinkled and appear well read, and there is shipping tape on one of the pages. Definitely NOT "Like New."

“Good” isn’t good

I bought this book in “good” condition which means all pages should be there. It’s missing 4 pages. It has water damage and overall feels very dirty. Not happy with this purchase at all.

Love this book!

I was so happy with this book and the quality was good! My students loved this story.

Book in terrible condition!

The book I purchased was listed as very good which is close to like new. The book I received has several crinkled pages, numerous rips, and many pages are colored on with a crayon. One page was ripped so bad it had to be taped to keep it attached.

Fun!

My four-year-old says, "It's silly. I like it a lot! His shoes turn different colors. I like it 'cuz Pete the Cat is blue, and I like his white shoes. I like his white shoes a lot. And, I like it a lot that it says on the front that I Love My White Shoes." She and my 6.5 year old love Pete the Cat! :)
