simple and fun

this book has some pretty basic vocabulary, it's nice for kids who are just learning Spanish, as dogs wend their way through a town.

Wonderful on all levels

I bought this for my niece who will soon be two-years old. She loves dogs and is learning Spanish. I hope she will have this read to her over and over and she will eventually be able to read this for herself. The simplicity and clarity of focus is wonderful. It works as a learning tool and as a picture book.

A young boy wakes up after a night of dreaming about dogs, looks out his bedroom window and excitedly exclaims, "Mucho perros! Lots of dogs!" He asks his father, "Adonde van? Where are they going?" In this quirky adventure, the dogs are heading through the town, dogs of every size and variety, all barking and jumping, crossing bridges and streets as they reach the edge of the water, where they frolic together playfully. A stimulating introduction to bilingual reading, the story is written in simple words in Spanish and English, the illustrations featuring perros (dogs) of every shape and size, large and small, clean and dirty, fast and slow.
