When Daisy books a Sixties extravaganza on the internet, she's thinking hippies and free love. Except she misses one tiny word in the advertisement and ends up at a weekend for over-sixties at Bedlingham Manor. After sexy hotel manager Jake casts Daisy as a nun in the murder mystery, she is ready to scream and call the weekend off. But then Jake shows up dressed as a priest and it seems he can't wait to uncover the red lace beneath the nun costume. Jake and Daisy don't expect to fall in love but they discover that their weekend of hot sex might be much more than they bargained for.Bless me, Father, for I have sinned...or I'd really like to.
This is a fun romance. From the hilarious misconception of what the theme of the get away is, to the plunge in a frozen pool, through every twist there's chuckles and tension. The heroine is laugh outloud funny, the sex is oh my steamy, and the threads are woven to the conclusion with the skill of a master. Even the villain is sexy, with hints of a story of his own to tell. Definitely don't miss this read.
Good and above average erotic romance. The author has a nice writing style. I chuckled several tim

STORY BRIEF: Daisy books a Murder Mystery Weekend at the Bedlingham Manor (hotel). She thinks it is set in the sixties (hippies and free love) but finds it's for the over-sixty crowd. She's only 27. The sexy hotel manager Jake can't stay away from her, and they begin a wild and wonderful affair. As part of an edict from his wealthy father, Jake must avoid having sex with women for six months, to prove his character. He blows it when he meets Daisy. He tries to keep her a secret which is a problem for her. Jake's brother Adrian tries to sabotage Jake's efforts. REVIEWER'S OPINION: I liked the characters and the plot. The storyline was different for a romance novel. I enjoyed the hotel guests being assigned roles and given costumes and words to say as they play-acted for the weekend and tried to solve the mystery. The sex scenes were lustful and long. I enjoyed Jake's inability to control himself, practically tackling her on more than one occasion. However a couple of times I found myself skimming parts of a sex scene, but I still recommend the book. DATA: Story length: 192 pages. Swearing language: strong. Sexual language: strong/erotic. Number of sex scenes: 10, most were several pages long. There is some rear door activity and sex toys. Setting: current day England. Copyright: 2008. Genre: erotic contemporary romance.

Ms. Elsborg's debut novel is a very funny, very steamy romp. Daisy Leaf's misadventures begin when she misinterprets a murder mystery weekend and winds up role-playing...as a nun. It's hardly the start of a fun and romantic getaway she'd dreamed of. But the weekend may not be a total loss because it also leads to Jake, her charming, sexy host. From Daisy's hilarious entrance to the sizzling encounters with Jake to the heartfelt conclusion, this is a thoroughly enjoyable book that's not to be missed.
