For the aficionado

This book has everything an OCD-type individual could want. I keep a datatbase of cigars i've smoked as well as my reviews/ratings on them. This is a very helpful tool for that purpose. I enjoy it, beacuse it also gives depth on the blends and wrappers which isn't always readily available.

A very comprehensive list of Cigars

This is a book that has a quite complete list of different cigars around the world. Not very good for Brasilian or Cuban cigars - but has all different Vitolas and is a good tool to have back home. The introduction is quite shallow about cigars, almost useless, but the rest of the book is fantastic. It's not a book to read. But a reference book. I enjoyed buying it.

The source.

If your looking for a definitive listing of all the cigars on the market today, this is it. Don't kid yourself and think this is anything more than what it is...a paper database of the world's cigars. if that is what your looking for, you have found it.

The Bible for the cigar industry.

Pearlman's lists 97% of the cigars on the markettoday. Published yearly, the book has been growing in leaps and boundsfor the past 3 years. We are in the cigar business, and when someone calls us and asks about a cigar and we've never heard of it the first place we look is Pearlmans. A must for anyone in the cigar business and a bargain at $12! Also includes interesting information and facts about tobacco growing, curing, rolling, etc.

Complete and indispensable!

An unbiased listing of nearly every cigar brand, hand- or machine-made, available at the time of printing. Perelman's job hasn't gotten any easier over the last few years since the profusion of handmade cigars has now become a flood. However, he's very much up to the task - there is no other book that comes close to being as comprehensive. If you regularly smoke cigars, you should always have the most current copy of this book on your bookshelf.
