People's Park in Bloomington, Indiana served as a home away from home for punks, skaters, metalheads, hippies, schizos, homeless vets, and anyone who didn't fit in the mainstream in the summer of '89.

None of the kids knew the park was created after the Klan bombed a Black-owned business back in 1969. One witness to that bombing was Electric Fred who listens to radio static on his Walkman and writes conspiracy theories in his notebooks...
