People's Park in Bloomington, Indiana served as a home away from home for punks, skaters, metalheads, hippies, schizos, homeless vets, and anyone who didn't fit in the mainstream in the summer of '89. None of the kids knew the park was created after the Klan bombed a Black-owned business back in 1969.
