Amazing stories of love and devotion our Lord

Wow! While this book is very difficult reading, it chronicles, in remarkable detail, the lives and persecutions of many Christian Saints from the past. This book, along with Foxe's Book of Martyrs, gives tremendous historical accounts of the entire history of Christianity and the suffering of those past saints who had the courage to stand up for the faith. Even when the decision to do so meant the end of their mortal lives. Reading this book gives one a new perspective in how people in the early church paved the way for the liberties we now have in the modern era. The strength the Father gave them to endure the tortures and deaths the encountered is something to behold. This is good reading for any believer who doesn't know of the ancient history of the Christian Church.
