A Informative and Entertaining Book

Christina M. Girod does a wonderful job of playing the events of Matt Damon's life in your head as you read this terrific book. This book provides detailed insight into the life and mind of Matt Damon. I personally must say this book is great for students of any age or grade as it is informative yet interesting to read. Along with that the photos in this book are both fascinating and helpful for learning about Matt Damon's life. "People in the news" does a quality job in describing all aspects of Matt Damon's life from young adult hood to his current age Although now a superstar in the land of Hollywood Matt Damon wasn't always as famous as he is now. "People in the News, Matt Damon" presents quality work in describing Matt Damon's acting life as well his teenage and young adult years. When Matt was nothing but a little boy he had a passion for nothing but sports and dreamed of becoming an NBA star. Quickly changing interests Matt's teenage years had been devoted to his acting skills by performing in school plays and musicals. Matt loved nothing more than acting with his good buddy Ben Affleck who he's know since childhood. Although Bens acting career was above Matt's at the time, as Ben had a part in ABC's guys and dolls. Knowing this Damon works even harder to improve his acting skill by performing in auditions and plays at the local theater in his home town. Matt Damon graduates high school with high marks and attends Harvard University. Although attending a very prestigious and demanding school Matt does not give up on his acting dream as he continues to perform in local auditions. Once graduated Ben and Matt move to California to better their chance of getting a role in a film. Not going anywhere Matt and Ben decide that the only way to get lead roles is if they write their own movie script. Once finishing the script they had no problem finding someone to sell it to who would work under several conditions of Matt and Ben. In all "People in the news Matt Damon" is a spectacular representation of Matt Damon's personal and acting life. It stays true to what a biography is all about which is giving the facts in the most exciting possible way. I would I highly recommend this biography to anyone interested in Matt Damon and wants to learn more about him. This book is also so enjoyable I could see people reading this biography for the fun of it.
