I landed a corporate job due to preparation from this book!

This is a great book! Believe it! This is in your face Corporate America interviewing. I am not a military officer. However, this book was recommended to me by one. At the time, I was on my first job out of graduate school and was already getting a bitter taste of Corporate America. I ordered this book and recommended it to a friend. We both received offers from Top 5 companies. When the opportunity came to interview for a "Real Corporate America Career", I was prepared. The six panel interview lasted 3 hours on a Saturday morning. That's a long time to spend with strangers answering thought provoking questions and role playing. The exact questions Roger wrote about were being asked over and over. While reading the book, I wrote those questions down and I answered them as honestly as I could. Then I decided the best answer to use if I were asked that question. Study this book and add your own experiences!!
Highly suggested reading for those leaving the military

Roger's book was my baseline and continued reference in my preparation for transition to the civilian sector. He does not mince words and tailors transition advise for those currently in the military planning to begin interviewing for civilian work in the corporate sector. His book offers readers a guide for honing their interviewing skills with a focus on the entire process of facing corporate recruiters. The book details the dynamics of an interview and points out that presenting and selling yourself with substance and confidence is much more important than the resume that got you the interview.

Roger Cameron offers an easy to read book which addresses the difference between getting the best job and settling for the mediocre. Although his book targets junior military officers, my accountant wife and I agree that his book is valuable to anyone seeking employment in Corporate America. He addresses such issues as preparing for interviews, dressing for the job, resumes, cover letters, and how to act. He also stresses that one must plan to seek a job and how to impress human relation recruiters from the top companies. Roger Cameron is the co-owner of Cameron Brooks, a Corporate recruiting agency that transitions the well qualified junior military officers to Corporate America.
