needs updating as it is behind,it bearly covrs the 486?

i bought this book two years ago when i was studying for a diploma in computer repair and maintenance. it covers the computer in general but they need to upgrade or review the contents. there is no mention of pentium mother boards,edo ram, giga-byte hard drives etc, if any one started to take up computer repairs, maintenance,upgrading, hoping to learn,they would be confused with todays new term tech, in general the book is out by two generations of the computer family.
