Extremely Funny!

The essence of spanish contracultural movement, La Movida Madrileña, is contained in this book. Parties, drugs, gay and lesbian characters, love, lonelinness appear throughout Patty Diphusa's life. Almodovar's style at his best. The stories are very creative, and hilarious. Don't read this as if you were reading Faulnker or Shakespeare. It's lighter than that. It was written to be so. I really liked the tone on which it's written. If you like Almodovar's films you'll like this book.
