Good, esp if you like detente/defense issues.

If you're interested in the nuclear arms limitation issue, this is an intelligent, well-researched novel. Author is a talented entertainer, if not the master of the mystery craft.

Exciting

Great book, it is not often that an author can come up with such a comprehensive book as this on his first try. This had it all, a great story, good characters, wonderful action and a quick pace. This is an exciting book. The story is very believable and tight. He did a very good job with the battle scenes, almost like you were reading Clancy. Each time I was ready for a plot twist, action or drama it was there. The characters just explode in your memory - you do not get them out of your head. The ending was also a good one - you are expecting something close but the author has come up with something better. Overall, this was a great effort.

Nuclear weapons or troops presence? The first option il less expansive but...

You should really try to track this book down as it is very well written and a exciting story.
