Great Reference Book

This textbook was used in my graduate nursing course and is laid out well. My professor was not great at explaining complex topics on a student level. But, this book made the subject easy to understand. I will definitely be keeping it as a reference guide for looking up disease processes that I'm not familiar with.

The best book for pathophysiology. Hands down.

We used this book in patho in my nursing program. Wonderfully arranged. Easy to read. A little long but that's patho for you. ;)

A very well put together text book!

I purchased this book to study for a CLEP-type exam and found it to be an excellent reference not only for my studies, but also for general research and review of various diseases that I encounter in my job. When we have a critically ill patient, I now turn to this text to help understand exactly what is going on. I feel that the book is very well organized and includes several subjects not always encountered in this subject, such as behavioral disorders. I strongly recommend this book for all who are interested in learning about the wide world of diseases and for those who may need an occassional review.

For its inclusions, a very thourough pathology.

Copstead did not include some important neuro pathologies, but there are many books specific to those areas. In this large book, diseases are grouped according to similar pathogenesis and it gives the clinical significance of each. This should be a must for the clinical practioner or health profession student.
