Book Overview

First she wrote Across Time and Death, now she takes us into the future...
Jenny Cockell grew up knowing she had lived before. In her first book, the bestselling Across Time and Death, she revealed how she had been haunted by the memories of Mary Sutton, a young Irish woman who had died more than twenty years before Jenny was born. She was compelled to search for the facts and details that eventually confirmed the existence...

A very interesting read

Jenny Cockell can "remember" other lives. Her memories support the idea held by many believers of so-called New Age spirituality that there is no time but that time is a framework for our current perception of reality. Though it seems that she can see "through time" to her past and future lives, the main concept is that she simply can access other parts of her "spirit" or "soul" which are experiencing other realities. She's not a prognosticator. It's more like we are locked in a room with four walls and no windows living this existence and are completely unaware that we are also experiencing other existences in other locked rooms simultaneously. Jenny Cockell's room has windows where she can see other existences as she experiences this one. While a few reviewers have said her "predictions" lack credibility, I feel her future perceptions of a planet with greatly reduced population due to environmental damage come across as highly credible, particularly in light of the fact that this book was written before the effects of environmental hormones on fertility were popularly known. Her writing is not well-polished but I think that's because she's not trying to be a great author. She's not trying to woo you with her scintillating story but simply to relate her story so that others can understand what she has been experiencing all her life. If you want a fascinating novel, you'd best look elsewhere. If you want to hear an honest and very readable account of a woman's sincere and uncommon percpetion of reality, this book is for you.

I've Read Better Reincarnation Books

Although the topic of future lives could be very interesting and I've read a book some time ago that was very interesting and informative, this book was lacking not only in information but good writing skills. The writer jumped around a little too much and didn't express situations or events in an interesting and creative manner. It was rather boring all in all. For a topic that could be informative and interesting along with cases that could also be informative and interesting, it left you unsatisfied. Something was definitely lacking. I'd say to the author, please re-write it as it has interesting stuff in there but just poorly written and vague. I kept wanting to enjoy this read but could never get there. I'm hoping I can sell the book second hand for a decent price.

Great book

This is another excellant book by Jenny Cockell. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in the deeper implications of reincarnation and of humanity's inter-connectedness.

A book written from the heart

Having read her "Yesterday's Children" I can only say she has really outdone herself now, excellent writing. Just like she was in the room telling her story.

a wonderful book - made me believe in past lives

an amazing book of one womans journey. it made me believe in what i thought might be impossible - past and future lives. through jenny's experience and honesty i could see that there is more, that there is something beyond, and that perhaps we have all lived before.
