Great Guide and Keepsake

This is one must-have for Disney Vacation Planning. Its got a wonderful way of listing all the attractions and reviews. The maps could be slightly better though..a little bit bigger maybe. The Yellow journal pages are great and the pockets to keep tidbits is a brilliant idea... especially for someone like me who likes to save every tiny scrap of memory.

Excellent companion guide and take-along organizer

Co-recommended by and for the Unofficial Guide, I bought both. This guide doesn't contain much new information from the Unofficial Guide, and is much more concise and compact. However, it has two adults, teen, kid, and toddler ratings for each attraction, which is very helpful and interesting. The absolute best part of this book, however, is the organizer pockets at the back. There are enough pockets for a ten day vacation, plus a couple of extra, and a couple of travel pockets as well. You can write reservation info, impressions of rides for a scrapbook or something once you get home, and put tickets, pamphlets, etc. in the pockets. I plan on using the cut-out guides from the Unofficial Guide and keeping them in the pockets. I have already put all my ADRs on the pages, and I'm not leaving until May. ;) This book is small enough that it should fit in a medium bag or pack as you tour. I wouldn't have been happy with it as my only guide, but as a companion and organizer, it's top notch.

Enjoy the Updates!

We really like the updated versions of the Passporter texts. One of our favorite parts about the text is that the author "highlights" or shades in a different color, the new information from the previous year's version. So if you've recently been to Disney World, you can easily see what is new! Great idea! We also like the new color format.

Fabulous!! A must have for any WDW visitor.

This is by far the best Walt Disney World travel book I've ever read/seen!! I love it!!I spend a lot (and I mean, A LOT) of time planning my vacations. My planning includes scouring the web, reading tons of books and watching travel shows months ahead of my travel date. I've browsed through many Disney World related books in my local bookstore but the Passporter is the one that impressed me the most.If you are planning a vacation to Disney World, and particularly if you intend to spend most of your trip in the WDW property, I HIGHLY recommend this book. It is packed with information on the hotels, restaurants, theme parks, special activities as well as travel tips and planning info for your trip. At least 3 pages are dedicated to each Disney resort and even more pages on each theme park (along with some great maps). There is also a great rating system for each resort, theme park attraction and restaurant/eatery. My favorite feature (which I have not seen in other travel books) are the maps of each hotel resort which even shows where the pools, eateries, play areas and transportation location.I initially bought 2 other Disney-related travel books but returned those and kept just this one. Unless you're planning to spend a lot of time outside the Disney property, this really is the only book you will need. And for those who will be dividing their time between Disney and other Orlando theme parks, be sure to get this book and check out one of the following: "The Unofficial Guide to Florida with Kids" by Pam Brandon (if traveling with children) or "The Everything Travel Guide to Walt Disney World, Universal Studios and Greater Orlando" by Jason Rich. Happy travels!

Don't leave home without it!

I honestly can't figure out how anyone goes to Walt Disney World without this guide. On our last trip, the PassPorter made it *so* easy for me to stay organized, with every coupon, confirmation slip, and trip detail in its own special place. On top of all that, the guidebook portion of the book is, in my opinion, among the best. No other WDW guidebook has better resort maps or descriptions. The 2000 edition has topped itself. Better maps, better reviews, more pockets. The best gets even better!
