Journey through the Bible

Pete Nielsen's Passport Please provides a new slant on the constant struggle between God and Satan. But, more importantly, it provides biblical justification for why God never gives up on us, is continually reaching out to us, and has provided us with a passport to heaven. There are many pluses: 1. I think the immigration imagery is one everyone can relate to. 2. The book is not only biblically sound it is well-referenced so the reader can engage in deeper study of the biblical passages used, if desired. 3. It provides scientific background for the skeptics. 4. God appears to have a sense of humor, which was refreshing! 5. It could be used as a great introduction to the bible and the message of salvation. I thoroughly enjoyed it and have passed it on to many!

Amazingly unparalleled presentation of an age old question

This book helps present a question that the human race has asked since their introduction to religion. "How does one get to Heaven?" Nielsen's book helps break down this question into an easily understandable metaphor. Each piece of the presentation reconciles to what has been stated and studied in the bible for ages. I have never read a book that has presented religious questions in such a novel way. It's impressive how Nielsen is able to describe in detail the entire process as he sees it. This book will really challenge you to think and more importantly will actually reignite your desire to read the Bible. Whether you've been a student of religion for years or you're just trying to find a more concise presentation of the path to heaven this book is for you.

A real page-turner with a happy ending!

Even though I already knew how this story of the human race was going to end, I found it to be a most entertaining and exciting book. I really enjoyed the way the author included both diplomatic (passport, borders, etc.) and scientific (the different dimensions of time and space) references, while at the same time staying remarkably accurate to the truths contained in the Bible. Perhaps the most entertaining aspect of the book was getting the author's take on Lucifer's thoughts and motivations! Whether you are a serious student of the Bible or are not that familiar with it, this book will give you a great synopsis and will also familiarize you with the entrance requirements to get into Heaven.

A challenge to live like an ambassador

If you have been trying to figure out the one main, consistent message of the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, Passport Please will help you discover it. Nielsen's story is a unique and fresh perspective on the relationship that God desires to have with the humans he created, why he set so many of the Biblical rules the way he did, and what lengths he will go to issue passports to humans who apply, guaranteeing their passage across the border into heaven to be with him. PP is an easy read. Some parts I laughed out loud.

Passport, Please

"Passport, Please" challenges the reader to think about their future . . . their "life after death" ( ? ) future . . . in a non-confrontational way. This book uses the allegory of a traveler needing a passport to get into the country they want to, and expect to, visit. In this cosmopolitan culture, where international travel is commonplace, everyone is able to relate to that scenario, and what happens if they do not have the credentials / visa to enter a particular country. With that in mind, this book has wide application for spiritual seekers as well as those on the secular side-line. Enjoy !
