Another excellent novel from Francine Craft!

As always, Francine Craft keeps you on the edge of your seat and never fails to satisfy your need for romance and a bit of intrigue. Passion's Fool is one in a line of great books, going back to "Black Pearl", by Francine. I am looking forward to her next book with bated breath! Until I started reading Francine's books, I was not a romance novel reader, but her ability to keep you coming back for more has made me a fan. Avid Male Romance Reader

Could'nt Put It Down

I have read may of Francine Craft's novels, but "Passion's Fool" ranked number 1 on my list. I had never read Romance Novels until I was introduced to Francine Craft, and I must say, everytime I read one of her novels, I can't wait until the next one is available. Every spare moment I have, I have one of her novels open and I look forward to the suspense, and entertainment that her novels bring. If only I had that type of imagination! Can't wait until the next one.

A Pleasure to Read

Intrigued by the cover and the back-of-cover writeup, I began to read and was caught up from the beginning. These are real people with real problems. Raven McCloud is a D.C. TV reporter who meets Adam Steele, a detective lieutenant when a thug attemps to mug her. A grateful Raven is pleasantly surprised to find she has met this man before, but running scared after an abusive marriage to a biological lab owner, she doesn't return his interest. But Adam is nothing if not persistent. Because she is grateful, Raven invites the detective to dinner with her and her small daughter and he is further charmed. He shows her pictures of his thirteen-year-old son and talks about his wife who had died earlier in a plane crash. A stalker who has been troubling Raven calls and for the first time threatens her with death -- "soon." She is terrified and Adam spends the night in a spare bedroom. They share an impassioned kiss when she thinks a prowler has broken in. It is is one of the best-written kissing scenes I have found. But there is so much more. The characters are sharply portrayed, the suspense is good, and the sensuality and interpersonal thrust is really good. I read it in two days and enjoyed it more than many of the fifty to seventy-five romance novels I read per year.
