Wrong cover art. Chris Pratt & Jennifer Lawrence are in the one I like. I've watched it hundreds of times.
EDIT 14 November 2023 Review for the ScreenPlay
I've wanted a book of PASSENGERS for a long time. I finally came across the screenplay today. I loved it. Highly recommended.
Jim Preston finds himself in a very bad place. He's supposed to be traveling to a future world and he gets woken up on his starship and has no way to get back into hypersleep. He is so lonely.
Aurora Dunn (Lane) gets woken up from her hypersleep. She doesn't understand why no one else is awake. She finds Jim and together they try to figure out what went wrong and how to get back to sleep.
Aurora finds out that Jim awoke her on purpose, now what is she going to do with that information?
As in a lot of books or screenplays, this one has a different ending than the movie that everyone is familiar with. There are several parts that are different, but I like it all the more.
This is one of my favorite movies of all time. My family thinks I have a crush on the leading male character, but I think I like it simply because it's a futuristic love story that is well done and without a lot of detracting foul language that is used in so many books and movies today. I still wouldn't mind a print book of Passengers. I definitely would purchase a copy or 2.
