Very well done!

This is a beautifully written book with great pictures, it is very easy to understand and follow. There are lots of helpful tips, and information regarding the benefits of each pose. I taught a class using the book as my text, and the results were outstanding!

a wonderful read from start to finish

As a yoga practitioner for over seven years, I have been very interested in expanding my practice. The door to partner yoga was opened and in walked this wonderful book. I love the easy to read prose and the pictures are just beautiful. Anyone can benefit from using the ideas and practice techniques which are described in a very gentle way. Beginners and experienced yogis and yoginis will find something to love in Partner Yoga. I highly recommend this book!

Easy to follow, fun to do.

My boyfriend and I got this book to try together; he'd had some yoga experience, while I am a beginner. The instructions and pictures are very clear and easy to follow, and there are a wide variety of positions ranging from very easy to very difficult. Some are less intimidating than they look! The instructions are very helpful, and then to realize afterward you have actually done the things in the picture is quite a rush.Only experienced yoga students will be able to do everything in the book from the start, but most people in reasonable shape will be able to do a good portion of it and work up to the rest. A good way to get close to your partner while exercising, and I felt great afterward as well. Worth a shot for those who want to add a little variety!

We're just beginners

My fiance and I are just beginners at yoga, but we've found that this book is fabulous. It's fun, informative, and a beautiful book. Some of the positions are definitely too hard for beginners, but you're supposed to work up to those. I also sometimes find that it's difficult (if you have an apartment or other small space to work in) to find a big enough space. And although doing yoga outside or on the beach (as the book illustrates and suggests) would be fun, it's not always feasible or practical. But this book still has wonderful information, beautiful pictures, and is a must have for a person who wants to involve their partner or friends in yoga!

I'm not into yoga

I'm a middle aged, middle class, stressed out business person. I don't eat tofu, and wouldn't normally consider a book like this. A close friend insisted we try, and I'm amazed and pleased. Quickly, I've become more flexible and feel the results. Even better, it's fun and easy to follow the authors' guidance. The pictures are plentiful and helpful, and the book's overall quality is superb. Buy it and try it.
