Pandemics alter the fabric of society. They catalyze social and economic changes including extinction of civilizations, rise and fall of empires, geopolitical changes and advancements in technology. As a response to the devastating impact of Covid-19, my interest piqued in understanding how pandemics change the world for the better. As a human species, we have evolved to survive in the most hostile of environments. Pandemics have accelerated the evolution of the human species through the advancement of knowledge.
