i am an artist myself and it was great to finally read a book about an artist. the characters were great, a little sketchy at first, but cva makes you want to keep reading to find out more. you end up loving mattie and wishing you were part of the story itself. i read the book every night before i went to bed, and i liked it soo much it only took me a week and a half to read. i definitely was not expecting the twist at the end, but it made it worth while. absolutely one of my favorite books.
