Owls and Poets

This collection of poems is my seventh volume of poetry. The title came to me one night when I was working on a poem about nighttime writing. Hearing a screech owl that nests near my home, I mused about how the only ones awake at this odd hour were owls and poets. As it turned out it was a good title for the poem and a theme for a book. Hence, the poems in this work are about owls, poets, nighttime and the process of writing poetry.
