A pleasure to read and experience

Very good book. The topic is travel and far-off places, but the journey and connections with common (and not-so-common people) is the heart of the book. Joy, sadness, and a great appreciation of the human experience are all found within the pages. You will find yourself wanting to let go of your possessions and pack a bag for far off places.

The rich themes interwoven throughout these fascinating tales could just as well be from an outstanding collection of short stories. He is a writer of incredible talent, and one who deserves to be discovered by many more people.
