A Beautiful Island Adventure

This book is simply beautiful. The rhyming text has a smooth, song-like quality, and it is a joy to read aloud. The paper-cut collage illustrations are intricate and well-designed. From whales and turtles to crabs and jellyfish, this book gives a wonderful glimpse into the lives of the creatures of the Hawaiian islands.

This book rocks!

If i were to choose one book to read to my little ones while sitting on a beach (especially if it were Hawaii) it would be this one. It's full of such life and joy and such great illustrations that i smile just looking inside it. Wonderful!
