Her mother agreed to give Cynthia a copy of the book, but the original was once again hidden away until after Virginia's death in 2009. At that time, her daughter Cynthia once again, discovered the book and made it her mission to have it published so her mother's dream could be fulfilled and the world could enjoy the story of two horse-crazy girls who share life's adventures together.
