Beautiful illustrations, great gift for kids who live near a pond

Beautiful illustrations, thorough in discussing lots of common animals and plants seen around a pond. I find this a peaceful read and little ones who have been around ponds enjoy seeing familiar and new animals to watch for.

This book, like the others in the series is just so great! Beautiful photos with a great story line!!! It is entertaining and we use it every unit in our homeschool!
