A great read concerning global poverty

This book or journal was very helpful to me because it explains why we have poverty in our planet. Global poverty is one of the most haunting realities concerning human behavior and history. We are very far away from eradicating poverty despite the many attempts by progressive governments and so-called progressive governments operating within the Capitalism system that has created such massive global poverty. This book will be interesting to anyone wanted to learn more on the issues concerning global poverty and what WE can do to work towards a more equal and just society. I definitely recommend this book.

The needs of the world, not one country

We are continually bombarded with propoganda about "saving energy." We pay higher and higher prices for gasoline, heat, and electricity. Yet, hundreds of millions of people around the world have no electricity and have never used a telephone. This book looks at politics starting with the needs of working class and its allies among farmers, oppressed people, and youth around the world, not in one country.
