In The Missing Bagpipe, we meet Angus MacOtter, who is furious over the loss of his family bagpipes, an important heirloom to the clan. All the folks in Ottertown are preparing for a party and Angus planned to play a tune on the bagpipe as a present but now that the pipes have gone missing, he jumps to the conclusion that the ancient rivals of the MacOtters, Clan O'Hare, have stolen them. Angus, who is an impetuous leader, rallies the otters to war. On the day of the battle, Maggie discovers that her forgetful husband actually left the bagpipes under a footstool at the house and she rushes to try to stop a needless war between the two rival clans before it's too late
