A collection of jokes about Oregon that could only have been written by a native

This collection of brief jokes about the weather and conditions in Oregon could only have been written by a native, for if anyone else would have deprecated the state in this manner, they would have been pilloried. I have been in Portland in early March and while it did rain every day, it was always a light shower that did nothing to severely dampen the day. However, if you take this book seriously, the western part of the state is allocated only one or two sunny days per summer. The author is a native Oregonian and serves up the self-deprecating humor in a manner that will generate a few basic chuckles at the expense of a state that he no doubt loves and would never leave. All of the jokes are clean, which is the only way it could be, given all the rain that would wash the dirt away.
