"Originally From Shreveport: A Lite Off-the-Wall Memoir" by William A. Peavy III, began as a collection of off-handed recollections and evolved into a random, humorous, memoir. Peavy, a Shreveport native with deep southern roots, weaves personal insights with true stories of his family history, friends, his north Louisiana upbringing during the 1960s and '70s, wild LSU college days, and his life in Dallas as he navigates the booms and busts of the Dallas real estate market. It's an entertaining, light read.
