A Nice Board Book to Teach Children about Opposites

Ages 2-4. This board book uses simple text and realistic illustrations with lift-up flaps to teach toddlers and preschoolers the concept of opposites. The brightly colored paintings depict young children of different races, along with objects that are familiar to children. For instance, in one illustration a child is under a chair, and when you lift up the flap the child is sitting above the chair. The small size of the book may make it unsuitable for a group story time, but it is an excellent choice for a parent or preschool teacher to share with a child.
