I am in charge of Bible study at our parish; we study the Sunday readings because in three years we will have covered the entire Salvation History. This book is an excellant guide to point out references in the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Often questions come up and we can look up the parts of the catechism that pertains to the readings. I look up the readings and the catechism references, put it on Word and then e-mail to three other parishes to use in their bible study classes.
Excellent resource indexes the Lectionary to the Catechism

Fr. Kris Stubna's book is an excellent resource for catechists, especially those involved in RCIA programs. The book indexes the official Catechism of the Catholic Church to the Sunday and major feast day readings in the Lectionary. Each page features a brief synopsis of the day's scipture passages along with the appropriate sections of the Catechism where those themes are explained by the Church. It does not, however, contain suggested homilies and sermons or structured outlines for developing them. For that, catechists would be wise to consult Scott Hahn's "Homily Helps" at the St. Paul Theology Center website, www.salvationhistory.comI searched a long time before finding this book, and to my knowledge it is the only resource of its kind.
