Love Love Love it!

I love this book and I never get tired of reading it. It always has me grabbing it when I need to read something.

Forgotten Love

This is the first book by Day Leclaire I have read that isn't funny. Not even a chuckle. I really did like it. But I like her sweet laugh out loud books so much better. In this book Anna Kane has no memory of her husband Sebastian, but he will not except that. Why I don't know, he claims he doesn't believe in love, but it is clear he loves her beyond life itself. And he is willing to do anything to regain what he lost when she left him before the police contacted him about Anna being involved in a car accident. But Sebastian thinks Anna is pretending she can't remember anything, why he believes this Ms Leclaire never really fully explains. Christanna started out trying to get the plans for a plane Sebastian invented, for her stepbrother Benjamin, but she falls in love with Sebastian. Benjamin was flying the plane that Sebastian invented, when it crashed, taking the lives of Benjamin's father and Christanna's mother. Benjamin can't face the fact that he was the reason for the crash, so he asks his stepsister to take a job as an assistant to Sebastian and spy on him. She falls in love with Bastian and tells Benjamin. He pretends to drop the case, only to threaten her with blackmail later. Once they are married Benjamin tells Christanna he will tell Sebastian why she started working for him in the first place if she doesn't get the plans for Sebastian's plane to him. She can't face Sebastian knowing about her and her stepbrother's plot, so she walks out on him on their wedding night. Benjamin crashes the car they are riding in and then leaves the scene of the accident, almost killing his stepsister as he had their parents.(This doesn't seem to bother Benjamin at all) Anna has a head injury, from the horrible crash where she had to be pried from the wreak, but it turns out that her head injury isn't really that bad. As far as I know any head injury is bad, no matter how slight. The story is really heart ripping sweet, but sexy as all get out. From the back of the book: 'Forgive and Forget? Anna Kane wakes up in a hospital bed to find she can't even remember her own name. Luckily for her, her husband is there to remind her! The only problem is she can't remember him, either! And Sebastian Kane is not a man who any woman could forget in a hurry. Anna soon comes to suspect Sebastian's description of their idyllic marriage is far from true. Why, for instance, has Sebastian hired a private detective to investigate the mysterious circumstances surrounding her car crash? For a "happily married couple", there seems to be precious little trust in their relationship...'
