Good story for small children and toddlers.

This books is old and has very simple line drawings. The artwork isn't anything to brag about, but the story is simple and easy to follow. My 3 year old daughter was captivated the first time we read it together and has been each time since. If your child likes cats or kittens, this is a great choice. I won't spoil the story, but the gist of it is that the family's cat has kittens and the father is not happy to have them all in the house. They cause one problem too many and he takes them to the pet shop to sell them. The ending is a happy one and your child won't be disappointed.
