You have names that aren't really the person's names or nicknames that are nowhere near that person's name, a murder that needs to be solved, attempted murder(s) to prevent, childhood sweethearts (?), childhood friends, well described emotions, unrequited love(?), a look at a "somewhat different" thought process, self-worth issues, dramatic secrets from left field ... whew. This is a nice best-friends-grew-up-together-/-can-we-be-more, opposites-attract romance combined with a twist and turn suspense.
