Chart Table Addition

This little book, along with an HO 249, time source and a sextant, takes the mystery out of celestial nav. It's a brilliant little cookbook that gives you the LOPs or LANS that you want without endless lecturing on theory. I used this book on a trip across the Atlantic and found it great fun and an excellent backup . Remember: one lightening strike and all your unprotected electrics are gone. -What's YOUR backup??? The clearest explaination of celestial navigation I've read.

This book takes the reader with no background in the subject of celestial navigation to having the ability to find their position quickly. The author by-passes the eye glazing theory which other books go into and sticks to an easy to follow recipe format ( forms included ). With a little practice anyone can use celestial navigation to find where they are and batteries are not required. Just a little thought.
